Begur is really three places: the old town on the hill, the ring of coves below it, and the urbanisations in the pines between them. Each suits a different kind of buyer.
The old town
Stone houses, narrow streets and the castle above. Busy in August, quiet the rest of the year, and a short drive to every beach.
The coves
Sa Riera for families, Aiguablava for the clearest water, Sa Tuna for a fishing-village feel. Houses on the water are rare and sell fast.
