Overview
The mark is the batch
Kiln loses roughly a fifth of every firing, so no two batches are the same size. Rather than hide that, the system prints the batch number at the largest size on the box and leaves the studio name at the foot.
Boxes are unbleached and unprinted apart from one line of black. The glaze does the rest, which is how the studio wanted it.
