Lipstick

Maudette is a small cosmetics brand from Lyon that sold one red lipstick for years. For its first full range, eight shades from berry to brick, it needed packaging and a launch campaign.

We designed a plain black case and photographed the red lipstick on white paper. A close-up of freckled lips with no makeup shows the skin the colours go on, and a stack of dark fruit with a blackberry in the middle sets the berry tones of the range.

The range launched with these three pictures on the shelf cards, the boxes and the website.
